The CHESS project
2011 - 2014
CHESS was an EU-funded ICT research project investigating the application of mobile personalized storytelling in museums.
The FP7 ICT EU-funded research project CHESS (Cultural Heritage Experiences through Socio-personal interactions and Storytelling), ICT-270198, involved research in personalised and adaptive storytelling and authoring with cultural content.
The project ran for three years at the Acropolis Museum in Athens, Greece and the Cité de l'Espace in Toulouse, France. I was a member of the University of Athens' research team and was responsible for the User-Centered Design of the project. I had significant involvement as initiator of the basic concept, in the formation of the consortium, and in co-writing the proposal.
