PowerWall at NTUA
Specification and software installation of an active stereo single wall virtual reality system for the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems' (ICCS) I-SENSE Research Group at the National Technical University of Athens. 2007.
makebelieve design & consulting took part in the hardware and software specification and installed the software for the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems' I-SENSE Group's active stereo virtual reality Powerwall.
The Powerwall is a low-cost system with a 210x160 cm silverscreen display surface, one SVGA (800x600), 1600 ANSI, 120 Hz, active stereo projector, and runs off a graphics PC with 3D Stereo Nvidia Quadro FX. The system runs a Full Educational version of VRCO's CAVELib.
